Status: 7th March 22
Dear Leela School Students and retreat attendees,
We are excited to announce that this year, we plan to meet in person for some of our events, like Module 1 and Module 3 retreats.
We have a few important pieces of information we wanted to share with you all about the structure of these retreats.
- For those of you that do not want to, or cannot, travel to be in with us in-person, we are offering the option to participate also online via Zoom (hybrid format). This will look and feel much like the same way it’s been for the last 2 years; you will be able to participate in real time, from the comfort of your own home. You will be able to raise your hand and ask questions, as well as participate in breakout rooms for exercises in real time with the rest of the group who will be also attending online.
- If at any point before our retreats take place, we feel it becomes unsafe for us to do so in that region, or if the particular region bans group meetings, we will cancel the in-person format and change the meeting to be fully online. This is for the safety of everyone. Please keep this in mind as you make travel plans and book accommodations.
- For those attending the in-person retreats in the US, vaccinations are required. You must be fully vaccinated according to CDC Guidelines and must have received your 2nd dose no later than 2 weeks before the retreat starts. Booster shots may be required if guidelines change. You can show your card upon check-in at the first meeting, or you can scan and email your proof of vaccine to Leigh beforehand. Please plan ahead for this. For those attending the in-person retreat in Amsterdam: all Covid restrictions have now been lifted in The Netherlands, at the Moment no testing or proof of vaccination needed for gatherings. We do however advise you to check out the requirements for traveling to The Netherlands as these can be different depending on where you travel from.
- In all regions, we will simply be following all local government health requirements. For example, right now that means in parts of Europe and in Australia, nothing is needed except that we ask you do not attend in person if you have symptoms or are sick. We recommend regular testing though. However, this could change if Covid numbers change and/or if local regulations should change.
We are very much looking forward to meeting you all again, in person, as safely as possible, and appreciate your help in making this a reality.
If you have any questions, please email Leigh at email@example.com. Don’t forget, when you register for the school to please note and let me know if you are planning on attending in-person or attending online.
